Costs and Areas Covered

Owning horses himself Mark is well aware of the high costs associated with horse and pony ownership.

In order to keep your costs to a minimum we do not charge call out fees or travel costs but we do ask if you own multiple horses their routine visits are held at the same time.

If your horses are within the red zone in the map below then we respectfully ask that you inform other owners close to your location of Mark’s visit so that they can also organise an appointment at the same time.  By seeing a number of horses in the same location at the same time we can cover our travel costs and keep our prices low, for you and your neighbours, friends and colleagues.  If you are North of Aberdeen we require a minimum of ten animals to be seen, whether for routine or urgent treatment, this allows us to keep your costs low by not charging for mileage or call out, the ten animals need to be within an area of around 30 miles.

Our charge is £40.00 per horse treated, in the unusual event of additional charges being required you will be fully notified before the additional work is carried out.

On the map below the red zone shows the complete area covered but where we ask that other owners are informed of our visit in order to make their own appointments in order to make the visit viable.  In the yellow zone we are happy to make single horse visits but where possible would always like to treat multiple horses in any location.
